Dynamo 2.17 is now available in many of the Autodesk 2024 releases! Generative Design in Revit and Dynamo Player in Revit and Civil 3D have also gotten some great updates. We have continued to work on making Dynamo graphs easier to share so that we can encourage more people to use Dynamo for workflow and design automation.

Dynamo 2.17 Core highlights:

  • Machine Learning empowered Node Autocomplete hierarchically lists viable nodes when you double click an input or output port help you build graphs faster and with higher accuracy.
  • Dynamo settings can now be imported and exported for sharing across offices.
  • Graphs can now be inserted into other graphs to help make authoring easier.

Note: In Revit 2024, Dynamo settings can also be deployed through online Revit and Civil3D deployments. The Dynamo splash screen is not yet implemented in Revit 2024.

Revit 2024 Dynamo Player and Generative Design updates:

  • Issue Viewer –  examine graph issues, including errors and warnings, within Dynamo Player.
  • Dependency Viewer – examine each graph’s dependencies in Player or Generative Design through the new Graph Dependencies dialog.
  • 2 new sample graphs are available for Dynamo Player
  • 1 new sample graph is available for Generative Design in Revit
