Hello Dynamo Learners,

Today marks the release of our visually refreshed Dynamo Primer and Introductory Tutorials for Dynamo 2.13+ that both match the new styling of Dynamo! Not only do they match the new look and feel of Dynamo, the content itself has been modernized, improved and streamlined.

Dynamo Primer:

The Dynamo Primer has had a lick of paint, looking visually improved and matching succinctly with the Dynamo Visual Refresh released in Dynamo 2.13. Beyond looking different, the content itself has been updated to better match the (Dynamo) landscape of today; think references to new graph authoring tools such as wire interactions and collapsed groups, new information states and refurbished graphs and a brand new Dynamo hype video! If you’re a seasoned veteran or fresh to the world of Dynamo we suggest you go and have a look, explore what is on offer and enrich your Dynamo understanding.

A big shout-out to Matterlab.co for all their hard work on creating the Hype Video and Updating the Dynamo Primer – you have made the world of Dynamo a much shinier place.

Introductory Tutorials:

The Introductory Tutorials have also had been modernized, visually matching the new user interface, and have been reimagined and retuned. Beyond looking different, they modernize every video to match what exists in Dynamo today, exploring the newly introduce graph authoring features in video format. So while the video tutorial focus is targeted at the beginner, even those of you who have been around the block once or twice will have something to learn (or relearn) in these videos!

A huge shout-out to Parallax Team and in particular John Pierson for his insight, enthusiasm and narration of the newly minted Introductory Tutorials – You are an absolute rockstar!

We hope you like this new content as much as we do! You can find the older content on the historical Dynamo Primer (For Dynamo v2.0) and our Introduction to Dynamo (2.0 to 2.12) playlist should you need it.

Cheers,

The Dynamo Team
