Dynamo 0.7.5 is out with many bug fixes and a few new tools.  As always we are working towards constant improvements in stability and reliability and working with customers who are building out new functionality available on the Package Manager.

New Features
Just a few right now, mostly around building out functionality that exists in other areas that we want to have more uniformly distributed throughout the application

– SAT files read from disk can be automatically updated in Dynamo graph using Geometry.ImportFromSAT

– Floor creation for structural types is now supported
– Port snapping:  sometimes it’s the little things!

Fixes
There are a number of bigger bugs that we have killed in 0.7.5.  Here are a few:

– Element.Geometry and Element.Face no longer crashes when used in Revit 2015 when executed on large groups of Revit geometry. Until recently, it seems like most Dynamo users were using it with Revit 2014.  In the lead up to Autodesk University, we found an uptick in Revit 2015 usage and the emergence of intermittent issues in handling large numbers of conversions from Revit geometry to Dynamo geometry.  We’re very excited to be able to eliminate this problem, and encourage anyone who was having trouble with Element.Geometry or Element.Face operations to give it another try.

– Dynamo does not conflict with other addins.  Previously, Dynamo would fail to launch in Revit when Unifi, Maxwell, Enum, or Kiwi Bonus Tools or a number of other add-ins were already installed on Revit 2015. If you know some one who had trouble just getting Dynamo to launch, let them know that it’s a good time to try it again.

– Better error messaging in Code Block Nodes

– Upgraded Excel.Write nodes no longer show as “Unresolved”.

– View.ExportAsImage will now export views other than default {3d}

– Software Developers can now run Dynamo as an external program for debugging libraries in Visual Studio

– Creating Revit model lines with modelcurve.bycurve no longer creates duplicate elements when adding to an array

– Copy/Paste of nodes now maintains lacing setting

– Many more . . .
