Join the Dynamo User Group of Philadelphia at KieranTimberlake on October 17th from 6-8pm to hear Scott Mitchell, a software engineer on Autodesk’s Dynamo team, tell the story of “Hacking the Howick” and talk about the future of making things with Dynamo.

The Howick machine at the Autodesk BUILD Space in Boston is a CNC steel-stud roll-forming machine, which allows for rapid fabrication of custom steel studs. By developing a stud-designing plugin for Dynamo, and utilizing some of Dynamo’s new and upcoming features, Autodesk’s AEC Generative Design Research Team has explored design to fabrication workflows for making complex steel structures really, really fast.

Learn a little, meet fellow Dynamo users, and enjoy the dinner sponsored by Microsol Resources. Feel free to bring your own laptop (with Revit and Dynamo 2.0 installed) along with your Dynamo hopes and dreams. No prior experience in writing code or Dynamo is necessary.

This session will be worth 1 AIA Continuing Education Learning Unit.
